After the COVID-19 pandemic, Mahi Foundation organized a year-long educational program to empower underprivileged students affected by the crisis. The initiative provided free spoken English classes and basic computer skills training to 245 students at no cost. The goal was to bridge the learning gap created during lockdowns and equip students with essential skills for better academic and career opportunities. This program not only improved their communication and digital literacy but also boosted their confidence to compete in today’s world. The year-long effort reflects Mahi Foundation’s commitment to education, skill development, and creating a brighter future for young learners.

Christchurch, Canterbury New Zealand has been through some tough times of late. But now is on the up and up with a fresh new start. Buildings are going up, businesses are opening their doors and tourists are visiting en masse. Flashworks Media filmed this piece in light of the recent quakes hitting NZ.
While the tough times are now for many, there are better times ahead as Christchurch can testify.
